Oh my Lord –
When will You come?
Will I be found, before my earthly life is done?
Will I experience Your Resurrection Power
and observe how sin You have conquered & devoured?
It’s a win-win scenario, for me, in any case –
As I long to see Your radiance, revealed at Heaven’s pace.
To enter Your gates with humble willingness
is real, knowing that I’m clothed by Your Righteousness.
When will You come?
Will I be found, before Death has finally succumbed?

This world’s a villain, do be careful,
It hinders all our happiness and love,
It wants us all to be down, be careful,
O’ Lovers be cautious with this love,
O’ Man I’m in love, I’m very careful,
The love bug is here, I want this love,
The bite of this love bug is careful,
It is so wonderful, it injects the love,
I feel butterflies, I’m so very careful,
Give me your love, all I need is love,
Love is life, please be very careful,
It is a very precious thing this love,
It hurts and feels so go…

Black Rose
Rainbow colored illusions
full of awkward pain
This darkness consumes me
I am a dead-like stain
The sky is above me
and hell is below
Is God protecting me?
only heaven knows
Take this black rose
drape it over my face
Let the thorns cut me
Let me bleed in my own space
imaginary memories
could it be a figment of my mind?
Do I need to remember?
or should I leave it all behind?
The sky is still above me
and hell still thrives below
Does God really love me?
Only heaven knows
Take th…

Lord I love you
can you hear me pray?
Lord I adore you
In a uniquely special way
Lord can you save me
from myself?
I have no one else
to ask for help
Lord I am lost sometimes
it's hard to find my way
can you take me by the hand
and be my light of day?
Lord can you hear me?
must I shed a tear?
Do I have to look so close
just to know your'e here?
Lord I am faithful
I'll never turn away
I'll always praise you Lord
until my dying day
Can you be my best friend?
can you be my leaning post?
For yo…

The King was weak and strangled by his Queen,
She the evil stepmother, wicked and mean.
Handsome he was, but Rama was banished,
With his beautiful Sita, to the jungle they vanished.
Simple their life was, but love was rich.
The trees were their palace, free from that witch.
Our Lord would hunt as Sita built their home,
But she wasn’t as safe, staying all alone.
The ten-headed Ravan caught a glimpse of her beauty,
To take her, he thought, was his divine duty.
Ram returned, from his daily Shi…

Each hour he sweats to make ends meet,
Resolutely labouring in sweltering heat.
Hands like bark but arms like twig,
Driving little princes and madams so big.
Not his intention but the card he was dealt.
Is it his idiocy or punishment for guilt?
Home is an idyll - not this vibrant catarrh,
but Gandhiji's paisa lured him this far.
Darkness to darkness - he forgets the sun's light,
Bootleg whisky his evening delight.
Is this a life or a hideous curse? He smiles and thanks God.
It could be much…

A sudden chill stabs at my cheeks,
Both reddening in mournful grief.
No more are those warming weeks,
Behind my smile sits gritted teeth.
Farewell the balmy starry skies.
I knew you would leave me.
But I hate goodbyes.

What is a life one might ask,
It is whatever we want to make it,
How to spend it, one might ask,
Virtue is the only way to make it,
What is joy, someone might ask,
Happiness is what really makes it,
Why eyes sparkle, one might ask,
Tears are the thing that makes it,
Why tears give pain, one might ask,
Tears are the virtue that makes it,
What are these tears, one might ask,
Disappointments are what makes it,
What is sanity one might ask,
Controlling fears is what makes it.

Dear! I can’t understand what you are,
Something clean or a clumsy whimsical,
I don’t know where on the land you are,
A reality, fiddle, riddle or just whimsical,
You aren’t here but in my mind you are,
Everything is spinning into a whimsical,
A grand tune of enigma is what you are,
You exist in a thing that’s a whimsical,
A lovely flower on a tree is what you are,
Your scent is driving wild the whimsical,
The essence of my life is what you are,
You’re the key that opens the whimsical,
All…

Outside the Windy City
lives the Lady Finnegan -
Carol dearly loves the Lord Jehovah
and is a part of His earthly plan.
Her heart has been pierced
by God's Holy Spirit;
for she placed her life before Him
and has chosen to submit.
Her adoration for the King
has burst forth with heart's joy,
from reading her great nephew's literature
within the borders of Illinois.
Now she's become God's messenger
via her gifts of Joe's Christian poetry -
For the fragrance of God's Love
envelopes her with scrip…

Hello friends and fans!
Many of you have been asking me, "Hey, Deb - what are you doing now?" "Do you have any new books coming out?" "I don't see you posting poetry anymore, how come?"
Well, rest assured, no I have not stopped writing. As a matter of fact, I have been ultra-busy lately.
As you know, I am now offering professional psychic readings and also do parties, which I must say, has taken off faster than I can keep up. I have also been scheduled for upcoming radio appearances and am al…

I'm tired of fighting friends and foes
Looking for a place to hide my heart
My life is viewed through broken windows
Searching for a place to fall apart

Now that people are becoming more aware of my poetic efforts, interests are being expressed regarding the background of my poetry - in addition, to my spiritual muse. Back in the Spring of 1980, I graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a B.A. in Mathematics. I chose this discipline because it was my favorite subject in school. This poem is the first and only piece (to date), where I apply this learned knowledge.
Back in February of 2007, I found a poetry contest - its challenge wa…

First sin
Eve tempted to do that sin
That sin grown as a gigantic palace for him
In that palace
Devils are playing a show to captivate human souls
There is a largest great pit full of thorns and fire
He sent his powerful slave to bring nobles
to misguide this world from the path of God
“Lust” is doing all conspiracies for his command
False attractions he has made
to pull all weaker souls in the path of lust
he gives all powers to his slaves and his followers
Wealth and pleasures
are also his c…

An Inquiry towards Truth
Knowledge, Wisdom
Love, lust
Anger, vengeance
Eager, greedy
Friendship, enemity
Hunger, indigestion
Peace loving, violence
Where they have come from?
Are they from a tiny drop of a sperm?!
Thoughts, speech
Writing, acting
Poetry, novel
Philosophy, principles
Rules, amendments
Debate, dramas
Dance, fine arts
Where they have come from?
Are they from a tiny drop of a sperm?!
Diseases, Medicines
Victories, failures
Everything, man made in this earth
Where they have come fro…

Now that people are becoming more aware of my poetic efforts, interests are being expressed regarding the background of my poetry - in addition, to my spiritual muse. In this installment, I briefly look at the crucifixion of Christ - an event central to the core beliefs of Christianity. This poem was composed in February 2007, in anticipation of that year's celebration of Resurrection Sunday (Easter).
If I were relegated to a single television channel, it would be the "History Channel". It's am…

1. What caused you to write a book and have it published?
Thankfully, I’ve enjoyed a career in IT (Information technology) for over 25+ years. However, I’ve been downsized out of a job four times – the last time in 2005, I was unemployed for nine months. During that time, I looked at over 19,000+ companies to find one job. With more jobs in my field being outsourced to lower wage earners overseas, I decided I needed an exit strategy from the corporate world to launch a more stable career and inc…

Seven of this morning
-------
There is no sun in the east and
the day is not bright as the day passed
With full of pains and tired ness, i raised.
There the clock on the wall has showed seven.
slight drizzles of the sky
makes me to get fear on my father’s health
His age of seventyeight and his asthma
Threatens me that day will be the last day of his life
There is a mighty blow of thunder in the north sky
makes an extreme fear and plucks his last breeth
My lovely Dad! has turned as a bo…

A river will flow in this desert too
======================
Now it may be a desert but
one day a river will flow in this desert too
Then it will have green trees and birds and
with a happy noise of ignorant kids
Now it may be hot and dry to live but
on that day of riverflow every thing will be changed
Now it may be lonely and isolated from all but
in the second of riverflow a huge crowd will be here
Their noise and talks will tear the sky too
Up to that second, It will wait for that flow
As the…
