Why I Write Poetry

I find it helps me to offload life's hiccups and it is a great way of expressing oneself. My style is rhyming and can be both sad and humourous at times.

Why I Read Poetry

I find it relaxing to read poems and it helps me to wind down sometimes. I like to see the inner picture of the written word.

My Published Books

I have had poems published in over twenty anthologies over the years and I have been included in a poetry CD. I have recently had my own book published called 'Expressions of Life'.

About Me

I am a published author and poet. I am a qualified freelance journalist and I work full time for the NHS in Development and Quality Management in Sheffield England.

I am gay and live with my partner, we have recently had a blessing in church.

I have three children who are grown up now.

I have lots of hobbies including reading, writing and lots of other hobbies that I don't have the time for now. I used to play guitar and keyboard and I like to draw and paint but these things have been neglected lately due to working and writing.
